my daughter can't play a game I downloaded for her

Hi I downloaded Roblox on my xbox one (with my account) and my daughter can not play it on her account. Why is this ? When my friend downloads a game on his ps4 all accounts on it can play.

Transferring Game "A" from Xbox one to Xbox oneS

I own Xbox one we will call "A" My Gamertag is "B" I have a live gold account. My daughter has her own account Gamertag "C"with her own live gold account. These were both registered on on Xbox A. I have games downloaded on "A" that she has played.

My daughter just purchased xbox one "S" that she wants to move her games over to.

She set up "S" with her account and she plans to move all her save data over after copying all to USB.

I downloaded game CODG3 onto my console for her to play on under Gamer tag "B". Knowing that it was under my account I signed up on her xbox one S and redownloaded the game onto console "S" it states that she can't play the game as she is not the owner.

So how does she get access to play the game. I have only played with her on the game for about 1 hour. How do I get it set up so that she can play the games that I downloaded for her under my account. I didn't want her account set up with a credit card
because she would have maxed out on purchases if given access. So I DL her games on my account using my credit card.

Can't find downloaded game

My daughter downloaded a game using a scratchcard which came in the box with her new Xbox, but we can't find it on the system and can't download it again as it has already been downloaded. Does anybody have any ideas please? Thanks.

If your console has not been set as your home device then this will prevent other people on you console from playing your downloaded games. Please see the link below for a guide on how to set your home console.

Yes just figured it out. I have two boxes and they both can't be home boxes. The game must have to be downloaded from my daughters profile in order for her to play without me signing in. Does that sound right?

I have the same type question. My daughter got a gaming PC for Christmas. We have xbox game pass ultimate. The subscription is in my husbands name and my daughter plays under my name. I can sign her into the computer under my husbands name and download
the games, but for games that offer online parties (especially ones that don't offer couch/split screen) I would like to play with her, me using the xbox and her on her computer. However, when I try to do this, I cannot invite her to the game. Can someone
walk me through, if this is possible, who has to be signed on where? It acts like we both have to be signed on as my husband or I can't access the games on the computer, and then we can't play together because we send the invite to our self? Our xbox is
already set to the home xbox. What am I doing wrong?

I like this! Currently my daughter uses my profile on her 360 to watch Netflix and I can't play games on mine at the same time. I'm glad this is changing!!

The only problem will be with license transferring. I currently have three xboxes . . and sometimes play on a fourth. I download my games to the primary xbox, then can license transfer to a second xbox, but then I can only download the games on the third
and fourth for ME to play alone. The game will be stored on the hard drive, but not accessible to other users. So, if for example you download peggle to your machine and license transfer it to daughter #1's machine, daughter #2 will not be able to play it
on her machine . . .
