My daughter bought her younger brother x box live gold ..but the code says all ready redeemed

I've got the exact same problem as LAA51. My brother bought the game and redeemed the codes, but me and my younger brother didn't get it. When I bought the legendary edition of Halo Reach I redeemed the codes, and they got acces just fine.

I hope this is a temporary thing? Anyone knowns it will be patched? Or is this solvable with some deleting and reinstallling?

That's what was weird. my daughter had a home gamertag (never been online ) when i redeemed the code on her account it took me to the steps in making the gamertag and it showed it had xbox live status but not gold.

Since your daughter is the one playing "alone" on her own console in her room, you should cancel the Xbox Live Gold subscription from any other account, and have the Xbox Live Gold subscription on your daughter's account.

That way, your daughter can play Xbox Live Gold multiplayer on any console she wants. Be it in her bedroom, on the "family console" in the living room, at her friend's console etc.

Then your daughter sets your living room console as her home console, so Xbox Live Gold is shared to the living room console again, so all family members can play online multiplayer on the shared console, while your daughter can play in her own room (or
at her friend's home or wherever) thanks to the Live membership roaming with her on her own account.

So you still get your whole family into one single gold membership.

Yes it is connected with another account which is my brothers. We originally linked them so we both had x box live gold. I have checked and asked him and he hasn’t bought the game

Well to be honest its my daughters. Anyway we have bought an xbox x and yesterday when she first set it up it was fine but then today when she wanted to get a code sent to her phone it wont send thw txt with the code, its saying the account is there but wont do anything,
