My credit balance seems wrong and I want it to be verified if possible.

I understand that pre orders from the in console Xbox store don't count towards my credit rewards but, I purchased two recently released games after the pre order date had passed (a day later) and I feel as if said purchases were not reflected properly.
My vip star rating increased from 4% back to 6% back if not mistaken, but the credits that will be deposited don't add up considering the games I purchased. I would like my credit balance to be verified just to be sure. Maybe my math is way off, but I would
still like to be sure everything is in order.

How do I use credit on my microsoft account to pay for an item that a member of my microsoft family has requested

My son received some x box gift cards for his birthday so I redeemed them on my account thinking that when he requests some V-bucks then I can approve the purchase rather than him spending them all without my approval.

There doesn't seem to be a way to use my microsoft balance to pay for something that a member of my family has requested, I can only use my credit card to add more money to their account and then approve the purchase.

I'm not going to use this balance myself so does anyone know how do I get the money transferred to his account / why can't I use it to pay for something that I would have to buy on my credit card anyway ?

Or can I buy the robucks on my account and give them to him or would they then be on my account too ?

Or can I buy a new x box gift card with my credit balance and redeem it to my son's account ?

The system needs to be changed to allow approval of child's purchases when they have a credit balance as you can't transfer in the exact amount that the child wants to spend either, so they then spend the difference with no approval.

I'm new to this but it doesn't seem to make sense or am I doing something wrong ?

We only automatically deposit at 5000 or more pending Credits. Since you only recently went over this amount, you did not have a deposit scheduled. You should expect your deposit in the mid month deposit cycle. For future reference, you can manually request
a scheduled deposit from your MyRewards page at 1000 or more pending Credits.

We only calculate MyVIP payback on purchases after the month is over, and place them as pending around the 15th. Therefore, it is too early to see your Credits for your October purchases. Since you only hit your third star in October (Gratz, by the way),
you should not be seeing any MyVIP 3 events yet.

However, while reviewing your account, I can see a discrepancy in your last Credit event, your September payback. It looks like you were only awarded at a free level instead of Gold. Apologies for the inconvenience. We will duplicate this event to reflect
the double back you should receive from your Gold status. You should see this adjustment pending by the end of next week at the very latest.
