My controllers seem to work poorly on a laptop and flawlessly on a different one.

Thanks for the feedback buddy, do you know if your controller firmware is up to date?

Please double check this connecting the controller via cable and open the Accessories app.

Also, do you know if your bluetooth card received an update when this issue started?

In the meantime, try creating a new local administrator user on your PC and try from there to see how it goes:

Well, I think probably the PC that you're using is the one causing the issue
We can try fixing that or finding the cause

First, are you using a third party program related to the controller? (Xinput for example or similar)
When the issue started happening or is this the first time you tried using your controllers to that PC?

And, if you try via cable the issue persists or not?

Hello there Josef ,thanks for replying now to answer your questions:

1.Iam using "Steam" third party program for the controllers.The program installs a driver that allows the games in it to be supportable for the xbox controllers. I have already tried deleting the drivers but it didn't seem to help.

2.the issue has been going on for about 6 months I think , I don't remember downloading or doing anything related to the controller that day but I started noticing that the RT was pressing itself occasionally then the LT then it started disconnecting randomly after that.

3.Via cables the controller do not disconnect ( they only do when i move them around too much and I assume its because of the cable itself getting unplugged).

I also think the issue is from my Laptop as well.Its just that I have no idea what started or caused it

sorry for the late reply, the controller still keeps disconnecting after I created a new local administrator account, it disconnected after 30mins of playing exactly.

any other idea why this would happen?

another thing that I suspect is that my controllers turn off when I play games that are "heavy" on the gpu and cpu.

but again I happend to once play for 2 hours without disconnecting then the controller went haywire.

Iam as confused as it gets to why it could turn off like that so randomly.

Edit:never mind its not related to how hard it is on my gpu or cpu just played a random game that requires barely any power from my gpu yet it still disconnected and went haywire for a bit.Although the RT and LT buttons arbitrarily pressing themselves can be reset if I restart my laptop.
