My controller's left thumbstick is broken

So, my controller's left thumbstick is broken. I put my left thumbstick forward, the character doesn't go forward. Say, I'm playing Fortnite. I move my thumbstick forward. The character goes slow. I have a game controller tester app in my Xbox One. When
I go forward, it's like something's resisting the thumbstick to go forward. I do a full circle, it's not even a circle. It's just a messed up circle. The part where I put the thumbstick on the top, it just goes in a straight line from right-to-left. It won't
go forward at all. Does anyone have the same problem? I need help.

Uneven deadzones on my Xbox one controller?

Hello, it seems my Xbox one controller's left thumbstick has uneven deadzones. Basically, I have to push the left thumbstick in the left direction a bit more (but not too much) in order to make the console register the input. This doesn't happen when I push
the left thumbstick in the right direction (that seems to be normal). It's a brand new controller. Is this normal?

 

Left thumbstick is glitched/broken

Hi, my left thumbstick is messed up. It seems like it's always pushing upwards, which is problematic when playing games, and pretty awful when trying to navigate menu's. When I move the stick down to counteract this issue, it is okay for maybe 5 seconds
before the stick begins to malfunction again. Is this a common issue? Is my controller eligible for replacement under warrenty? I have a day one controller, can I get it fixed, or will my replacement also have the Day One logo on it?

I can't get a repair also. And opening up my controller would void my warranty.
