Discus and support My Controller Wont Update. Ive tried Everything. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Alright so I have tried to powercycle my xbox, clear the cache, use a diffrent USB, and remove the battery of my controller and I still cannot get it...     My Controller Wont Update. Ive tried Everything.


    Alright so I have tried to powercycle my xbox, clear the cache, use a diffrent USB, and remove the battery of my controller and I still cannot get it to update. It always comes up with "sorry, we were not able to update your controller". Then I go to "exit"
    and start to scroll around my xbox homescreen for a minute or so. and then the xbox will not allow my controller to use any of the buttons except for the home button. until I power cycle my xbox and try it all over again.

    same thing here iv tried uninstalling everything reinstalling and it wont start up unless i remove update 5. removing the update also disables all the dlcs. big pile of bullshit

    Use a usb cable to connect then go into settings and check the controller is assigned to you once it is assigned to you remove the cable if you want to.
