MY CONTROLLER WONT POWER ON

Hello I recently tried to update my controller and while doing so and won't power back on I tried taking the battery out and putting in my new controller to see if it was the battery that controller works and I plugged it in directly through the record and
that controller wont turn on still so I called customer support ran through a bunch of troubleshooting and she came to the fact that I will have to have the controller replaced that you guys will help me out with this I look forward to hearing feedback so

mine controller wont start, the light wont go on but he has power.

Hey mate, have you tried some of the troubleshooting steps at the link:
support.xbox.com/.../wireless-controller-wont-power-on

It does sound like it's not getting any power from the batteries though as the link blinks a few times and this is what happens when my batteries are flat.

 

Not saying this will fix your problem, but sometimes the little spring steel connectors (In the controller.) get pushed back and the battery doesn't get a good connection; prying them out a little has "fixed" a couple controllers for my friends and I.
