What can i do ? Because i wanted To update my controller but the update stoped alone and my controller will not turn on .

xbox one controller disconnects with headset

okay, so i was playing on my xbox one when my controller disconnected. the controller then didn't turn on until i took the headset out. so now my controller will only turn on if there is no headset.

in short: with my headset in my controller will not turn on, without the headset in, the controller will turn on and play perfectly

You say the update failed, but the batteries are good? I believe the controller can only be updated by USB wire. Try connecting the controller to the Xbox via USB, and then try updating it again.

I have the same issue and it sucks because many others like you and I have it, so I made a giant tread so everyone can let their voice be heard at the same place. Simply comment to it to share your complain.

Sounds like your controller may be faulty. If it still under warranty you might considered getting it replaced else you will probably have to purchase a new one.

my xbox control one was not working the buttons , what should I do ? a patch or have to buy a new one is possible? is still under warranty , there is a way of you exchange ? Thanks.

Sounds like a power issue inside. There may be damage to a wire or connection.

Like Genesis stated, if its under warranty, sumbit an RMA with Xbox through Chat, Email or Phone to get a replacement sent out or to get yours fixed. (or exchange it at the retailer you purchased it from).

Most accessories come with a 90 Day Warranty.

If it no longer has a warranty, at your discrection (and im not saying you have to), you could open your controller and see if you can fix any applicable damage. (opening your Controller casing will void your controllers warranty).

The console physically restarts whenever I turn it off. The controllers turn off with the console. By phantom controller I meant that my console shows a controller being connected despite my two controllers being turned off.
