    My controller stopped working

    Is the battery compartment loose? I've heard this issue before and it turned out to be a loose battery compartment that was causing the issue. It should be a snug fit or the batteries will not make a proper connection causing the issue you describe.

    Since it is a new controller and won't turn on take it back for an exchange.

    Greetings, Ssnnaaaakkee and Izzy (lots of double letters up in here!). Very sorry you're having trouble getting your controllers working. Do you have the option to try using them on a different console? I'd be interested to know if the problem reproduces
    while connected to a different Xbox. You should also visit this page and make sure you try all of the troubleshooting steps offered:
