My controller shell is stuck. How can I make it unstick?

I'm trying to open my controller so that I can fix my broken LB button. I took out all the screws with my little Flathead screwdriver, but the shell didn't come off. There's something at the center of the controller that's holding it together, but I don't
know what it is. Am I not using enough force to pull this thing? Or do I need to use a special technique?

xbox one controller malfunction

Left hand toggle button is stuck which makes my tank move forward when I dont want it to.

How can I fix this as it seems a minor issue and the virtual assistant tell me to replace the controller completely ?

Xbox 360 Controller Keeps Disconnecting

Here's a rundown of my problem

1. I replaced the controller shell and buttons as i have in the past

2. The batteries are fully charged and the same ones used before I changed the shell

3. While playing, the controller is disconnected and I see the "please connect controller" message, but the controller still has power.

4. While it is connected, I can disconnect it by simply putting my hand infront of the controller (this was not an issue before).

After replacing the shells and buttons on other controllers I had this problem but it was very sporatic. Any ideas on what it could be

Is there still no way of resolving this without access to an Xbox One? My controller is stuck in the same state, and I have been unable to find anyone around here who has an Xbox One I can use to unstick it.

Any chance of an update to the Xbox Accessories app to fix this?

Its worth giving the controller a good clean and pressing every button in a few times to unstick anything.

That worked with my nephew's controller. Hth.

I doesn't have an Elite, but my friend use that controller 2 years and had only problem with unsticked grips. Other parts still works fine.

Might be a controller issue. Very used controllers tend to get the analog to stick a bit to one direction. Try to Roll both Analog sticks to sort of unstick and recenter the analog sticks. Or better yet replace the controller for a new one. Mine sometimes
get stuck a bit to the right and my character looks to the right very very slowly.

In MW3 try to adjust the look sensitivity to the lowest possible setting. If then your character slowly looks upward to the sky then i guess the analog sticks need repair. Adjusting the sensitivity to a higher setting will make your character look up to
the sky way faster than the lower sensitivity settings. This is a clear sign of old controllers that needs replacment. If ever your controller is still new then hopefully you can exchange it for a new one.
