My controller keeps disconnecting mid game

I'm running on windows 10 and I'm playing Rocket League on Steam. I have a plug and charge kit so thats the battery pack in the controller. Whenever I'm playing Rocket League, my controller will disconnect mid game. The light on the controller goes dark
and then I have turn it back on and wait for rocket league or steam or whatever to acknowledge my controller, so in mid game, I'm losing the ability to do anything for like a good 30-60 seconds in ranked matches which is a lot of time. It's a brand new controller,
brand plug and play kit. I don't seem to have any issues when it's plugged in, so I'm assuming it's the battery pack somehow. Anyone else have similar issues before?

Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

That seems really strange if the problem goes away temporarily when you change the batteries/battery pack. It might be worth having a look if it's the same issue I had, wifi signal interference.

If you plug the controller in via wire, does the controller still have issues?

Are you in an area with lots of wifi signals (for example, an apartment block)? If that's the case, it could be harder to find a solution, but it's possible that you might be having wifi interference issues. The controller connects to the wireless adaptor
using wifi signals and not Bluetooth, so it's sometimes susceptible to wifi interference. I had this issue with my Xbox One, I solved it by going into my wireless router's settings and changing the channel at which it broadcasts. I had to try a bunch of different
channels until I found one which seemed to significantly reduce the disconnections.

Hopefully that might work for you too.

Yeah i bought a new controller and this happens to me, i change the charging pack and then happens again. And then it works for 2 or 3 days and happens all over again. I have no idea what is happening. I sync the controller and updated to the xbox.
