My Controller Disconnects After Pressing A

So, after testing this a few times, on Fortnite, every time I press A while on the ground the controller will disconnect seconds later. It’s annoying to say the least. Any fixes?

Hi there,

You could play a couple games of Fortnite via USB, see if it still happens. You can also check and make sure the controller has the latest firmware too, here's a LINK
detailing that. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Maybe a soft factory reset is worth a shot too, here's a LINK detailing

Use the USB, the console asks to connect via a USB before proceeding with updating.

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link:
http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

be sure to wait at least 60 seconds after the console has powered down and then disconnect the console from power for at least 2 minutes. After those 2+ minutes reconnect power to the console and power the console on again.

Launch Fortnite and try to see if the issue is happening again.

Also be sure to check if the issue is only happening in that game or also in other games.
