My controller box was opened from seal and broken.

Also there was some weird white residue on controller when I lifted the box open. Outer baggage was ok, it was delivered in bigger box and there was no sign of harm.

I bought it in a 3rd party seller in Amazon. Everything is normal except the box do not have any serial# with it and the sticker with serial number in the battery is missing..The box is in perfect shape and there is no trace that the serial sticker in the box has been removed.

The seal of the box is the same with the other xbox controller I bought. And its sealed when I opened it. The DLC code also works.

Yeah, looks like it was probably returned because the 14-day Game Pass trial code has already been redeemed. I'm just amazed that the seals on the box were somehow unbroken/not replaced if the box was opened and the controller used.

Sorry to hear you are having problems, but the warranty clearly mentioned if you open the xbox or controller, you will void the warranty, if you have not opened and the seal is not broken, you can contact Xbox support.
