    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If you're on an Xbox console, kindly perform a powercycle by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Unplug your console for 5 minutes.

    3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Problem with syncing

    Everything is up to date, controller and console. The sync button on my Xbox one doesn't seem to do anything when I press it & I can't play unless my controller is plugged in, even when its plugged in it wont even vibrate.

    Hi Luke

    I'm a little confused by your post above however I will try to help a little.

    Firstly when the controller is not plugged into the console using a USB cable then turning the console on with the button on the front of it or the "Xbox on" voice command will not cause the controller to switch on.

    If you are turning the controller on and it will not switch the console on it may just be the controller has not yet been synced to the console, If so please see the guide below for how to sync it.

    Hi,thank you for taking your time to lend some help, my controller is mainly a wireless one but it does support a wired connection too. I tried connecting it to the Xbox using a wire, but still the controller was yet not lighting up(Logo button). I did plug it to my laptop and to my surprise it turned on for a bit but then the light turned off and there was just vibrations occuring while it was plugged and now the light does not turn anymore when it's plugged to the laptop only vibrations.

    -re-synced controller. Didn't work.

    -bought new wireless controller. Didn't work.

    -searched everywhere for a vibration setting in the game. Didn't work. (No setting found)

    Please help!
