My console wont start up

Hello,

About 2 hours ago, I wanted to start up my Xbox One S, but it got stuck on a green screen. I shut off the xbox by holding down the power button and turned it on again, but it still got stuck at the green screen.

Following this, I decided to remove the power supply, wait 30 seconds and plug it in, trying to start it up again. In this case, there was only a black screen. I'd checked if my HDMI cable was plugged in and if the power cable was plugged in. They were both
plugged in correctly, and I still couldn't start up my xbox. However, I was still able to open up the troubleshoot menu by holding down the eject and the connect button.

In the troubleshoot menu, I tried resetting my xbox to factory defaults twice, once with saving my data and once without. As soon as I pressed A on both options, my xbox would just freeze and not do anything. I'd waited for at least 5-10 minutes before I shut
off my xbox.

After this, I decided to try to use my USB to update the xbox offline, but this wouldn't work either. Every time I pressed A, it would say an error code. I looked up the error code, and the only solution to this was to perform the Offline Update from my
USB. Another problem occured: I was no longer able to open up the troubleshooting menu, and I still had the same black screen.

Is there anything else I can do in order to repair my console? Right now it only makes a noise, and there is still a black screen.

Xbox wont start up.

Xbox won't startup. Dc adapter is fine, looks like motherboard problem. No video, no sounds...

my xbox one wont start up after an update will only stay in the green screen with the xbox one logo and three loading dots???????

Hi,

First thing I would try is a different HDMI cable and see if that helps. I’ve had one go faulty so it does happen.

Try plugging into a different HDMI slot on your tv.

Hey Malicious! here are a couple of solutions for you to try. Let me know if one of them fixes the problem for you.

Solution 1- Hard reset. Hold power button on the front of the console until it turns off. Unplug console from wall outlet for a minute then plug back in and power back on and try the game again.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this to see if it will help.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
the results.

I cant even get my console to start up anymore!! All i did was unplug it and plug it back in and now it wont even power up!
