My console won’t start normally

When I try to turn on my console like normal, it doesn’t want to load the home screen, or anything for that matter. The green screen with the Xbox logo appears, but it sits on that screen for way longer than it should. And once I think it loads, it just
takes me to a black screen, and the only thing i can do is hold the middle button on the controller, and have that menu pop up. I looked up a guide online that taught me how to get it past this (by unplugging the power cable, waiting 30 secs, then plugging
it back in) but I don’t want this temporary solution, becasue it’s happening every single time I attempt to turn on my console. If anyone can give me some semblance of an idea as to what I’ve done to my console, and how I can fix it; please let me know.

Same here. Had to go drastic and factory reset but still no luck. This happened exactly after the last update that revamped the store UI. Now it just freezes at every little thing and takes forever to load and shutdown. My xbox one is now load screen 7lb
paper weight that cost me over $350 american dollars. Coincidentally just in time for a new console to hit the market...pretty damn shady. Live has been goin down hill for over a year but I never would have figured sabotage as a microsoft tactic. You definitely
sabotaged my xbox and during a pandemic when indoor entertainment is a must.

Thanks for responding appreciate it so it basically means when I get the new console and start up my Forza Horizon 5 I still won’t be able to play online right?

Sorry to hear you're having a problem with your game MW2. This might be an issue with the game itself so please follow the steps below to try to fix the issue but if it still doesn't work, you may need to contact Activision Support for further assistance.

Power cycle console:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

If it still doesn't work, try to delete your locally saved data for the game;

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.

2. Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.

3. Select Manage game and add-ons.

4. Highlight Saved data, select your gamertag, and then select Clear local saved games or delete from the console. This deletes games saved to your hard drive, but they’ll still be saved to the cloud.

Thank you for your reply. I will try this, but can you tell me why all of my other games will download normally but Roblox won’t? How will resetting my router fix the issue for Roblox?

That's a great game when it does happen to launch normally.

For issue with any game not launching appropriately, it's best to go ahead and start off with the troubleshooting steps outlined in our support article entitled “My
Xbox One game won’t start or freezes during gameplay”.

Give those steps a shot and let us know how that helped in resolving the issue
