If you received a console ban and are unsure as to why you will need to post on the 13 - Xbox One Account & Console Enforcement Actions forums but all Xbox Live device bans are permanent.

 

It can be temporary or permanent?

 

All Xbox Live device bans are permanent and occur when a particular Xbox console or Xbox on Windows device is used to violate the Code of Conduct in an egregious or repeated manner. Due to the severe nature of the violation no warning is given and the only
notification is send in the banned console:

“Your console is banned. This console has been banned for Terms of Use violations. To protect the Xbox service and its members, Microsoft does not provide details about specific console bans. For more information out console bans, visit xbox.com/xboxone/consoleban.”

Once a device ban occurs, no account can connect to the Xbox Live service from the affected device. Given the severity of this action XBLPET takes each device ban extremely seriously, and only takes action after a lengthy investigation.

You can't do nothing to "recover" the banned console. For more info:

You can't apply for a case review on a console ban they are permanent. Just check the link I send you!

 

Since you can't apply for a case review for device bans, the best thing you can do is learn how to use it offline. That way your kids will still be able to enjoy playing on the console albeit at the cost of not being able to do so online. Still, it's better
than nothing.

Not all xbox one bans are permanent

Op,check your junk folder as an email would of been sent to the address linked to your account explaining the ban.

 

So that's what I find strange, every day I check my emails and have not received notification nenuma, and I'm sure that did not get anything, and noticed that the users who helped see the banishment of reason do not respond since August 2015.

You shouldnt post personal info such as your serial number here. This is a public community support forum here made up of gamers such as you. So no one from the enforcement team reads these forums nor can give you an explaination to why your xbox was banned.

 

Also i dont think youd get and email unless you account was also banned
