My console has a wired connection to the internet and the NAT type is saying unavailable...

I am testing connection and says im connected to internet.

When test network connection it says cant find toredo ip

Current network status is wired. Ipv4 ipv6 nat type unavailable.

I dont have another way to connect a different network. I could try wireless instead of wired

You need to power off the network hardware (gateway, router, modem) for at least 5 minutes. Power back on and wait till it reconnects (green lights) to the internet before powering on the console.

Check the physical state of the ethernet cable. Replace if damaged or connect via WiFi.

Your home router needs to have IPv6 enabled, and your internet service provider (ISP) must support IPv6.

Please note that NAT type is dependent with how your network connection is configured from your router or network source.

To confirm, have you tried to reset your router by unplugging it from the power outlet and wait for at least 5 minutes before turning it back on? If not yet, please try it.

If it does the same issue, I recommend to perform a factory reset on your router to refresh and reset its system configuration. If you factory reset your router, you would to set it up again.

Don't forget to power cycle your console as well. Press and hold Xbox's power button for 10 sec. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

Both PS3's, the PS4, and my Vita report NAT type 2 (i.e. Moderate), which is the correct NAT type. Type 1 is a direct internet connection with "NO NAT", which would mean me connecting my console directly to the internet or doing a DMZ host type scenario,
which could only be done for one console, forcing all the others to NAT type 3 (i.e. strict, No port forwarding).

Interesting caveat, the PS3 downstairs is reporting uPnP as disabled but still reporting NAT type 2. That seems odd, the other PS3 reports it as enabled. The one reporting it as disabled is connected wirelessly, the other is wired but both are connecting
to the R7000, same as the 360.

I own a Xbox One S and recently changed wifi. After i changed my wifi i have started to recive problems on my Xbox. I have ethernet wired from my router to my Xbox connecting me to the internet. My internet
DOES work perfectly over wireless. The connection is faulty and changes if it’s working or not a lot. The network setting keeps changing from these options

I know the 3rd option is good.

I went through the whole troubleshooting process and I still have the same result. Here’s the problem, Optus (my service provider) doesn’t support iPv6 and has no plans to change it. It only has iPv4. I don’t know if this is a
huge problem or not. Is this a Xbox problem or a Optus problem and is there anyway to fix this.
