My console does not read the disks

First, when you say "...validate my guarantee", I think you are asking how do you check the warranty status of your Xbox. That can be done at the "Xbox
warranty information" page. But, lets hope you don't have to make use of that now. As far as the disc problem, may I recommend following the steps outlined at "How to troubleshoot
problems playing a disc on your Xbox One". Lets us know if this helped.

Does the console read any other games or just black ops 2? If it is just black ops 2 that won't read please check the disk to see if there are any scratches that prevent the console from reading the disk.

Does the console have issues reading any other disk????

Hey Chili, Try the steps in the article below to troubleshoot your issue. If that does not work then you will need to have the console repaired. It would not be covered under warranty but you can still have it repaired.

Ok, thank you I will try the suggested fixes tonight. (I answered no all the way through to see them all). If this doesn't work, I will probably just order a new 4GB console, since the cost of repair is close to the price of a new one.
