    I was just wondering why my refund request got cancelled I would like to know the specific reasons as to why and I would also appreciate it if you sent me your contact number so I could call you to explain my situation better and is more
    easy over the phone please. My child took £4500 from my card , without my permission of course, which was my savings for our new house we were looking forward to buying this year soon, my son really had no idea what he was doing. We really need this money
    back as it is basically my family and i’s whole life so we really, really would be thankful for you to help us out. Everything has become purely a disaster in this family, thank you.

    You took my money without permission!

    That I may not be able to find. But if you go to
    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us
    and click on the billing button. You will then find all kind of information pop up. The best option for you would probably be the "Unauthorized charges." Once you click that then at the bottom you will see an option to call
    Microsoft. I am sure the UK number would pop for you there.

    Your best option will be replying to the e-mail that was sent from the team that declined the refund request.

    Hi! You could try to reach out to Xbox Support from here: Contact Us | Xbox Support

    The reason a refund is not possible, might be that the money was used for microtransactions which are usually not eligible for refunds. But only support will be able to tell you.

    Besides that, you should obviously setup a child account for you kid so that such actions aren't possible anymore in the future. Learn more here: My account : Manage account

    Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. As previously stated by RandyAU93, in order to follow up or dispute the decision, you would need to respond to the email sent to you regarding it. It can take them up to 48 hours to respond to you. At this time,
    this is the only way to appeal and the Xbox Support team on phone or chat has no way to reverse the decision or provide a refund. You always have the option to request a refund again or dispute the charges directly with your financial institution.

    To prevent further use of your card on your child's account, it is also recommended that you create a child account for them, as Julian_ suggested. You can also negate the need for the card on the account by using pre-paid Xbox Live Gold subscription cards
    or Xbox Live gift cards to add currency to their account as well. Below I've included some helpful articles that may help you secure the account for future use by your child.

    For future reference you can create a child account for the kiddos to play on while you keep your adult account locked.

    This right here folks is why you need to do research before you just put a credit card on your kids account all willy nilly.

    You need to take proper precautions and set up his account properly. You can learn to do that

    here.


    Check your email as well too because you get an email notification when you buy something. I can imagine you got a lot of emails.
