my child is locked out of his microsoft account. He also has a new phone number. We cannot change his recovery phone number without first getting into the account and we cannot get into the account without using the phone number. I cannot change his pw from the family controls. How can we unlock this conundrum?

The only proof he has on his account is a non existent phone number from high school. His account is also locked so it wont let him even fill out the recovery form because its locked and didnt unlock after 24 hours like it said it would

I have a similar situation

I am locked out of my account basically..

I'd go to sign in, put my password in then it comes up with security info thing where it texts a code to my number

But that number isn't mine, it is my boyfriends. (I used his number coz I had very bad phone service) and he has lost his phone so now I can't get the code to sign in....

Do you know how to change that number (if you even can) ?

I ain't locked from my account, but I am locked from Microsoft Services. I have to input a phone number and verify my account to unlock it, but when I try to unlock it a while later, it is locked again and I have to verify using a phone number again. (Basically
I am in an infinite, and annoying loop...)

To clarify. I want a fresh start with the microsoft and xbox account but i dont want to delete the existing Microsoft account, i just want to put it under my cousin’s email and phone number so that the old account can be his and the new account can be mine. Instead they are both somehow connected to a single Microsoft account even though my email has been removed.

I have done the unathroized account page thing over the phone, it says my email has been locked out suspended etc. my account Windaria has not received a ban or anything regarding the code of conduct for Microsoft my account is in still working order, its
just my email dosent exist due to a compromised and changed my security settings,
