We recommend you bring this up to the Enforcement Team and submit a Case Review.

Case review allows players to submit an inquiry directly to Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team (XBLPET) through the account’s enforcement history. An XBLPET representative will then thoroughly review the suspension and answer any questions about the action.

This is the only message I have ever sent with profanity so it was definitely the same message/person. I also blocked the person after I was was suspended. I still don’t understand how I can get suspended twice for the same thing.

I was banned for using mild profanity IE [Mod removed-profanity]. Fair enough if it's part of your Code of Conduct.

Why however is it acceptable for gamers to use homophobic abuse and or homophobic inuendo without receiving a suspension or even a warning once reported ? Even if it can be quite explicit but not profane.

If people have used language that goes against code of conduct it will be investigated if reported. However findings of investigations is between Microsoft and the person who's account has committed the infraction.

how do you explain this? You suspend my account for simply challenging him after he trash talks? Sort your code of conduct out. If your going to suspend someone for challenging a trash talker suspend the other account too.

Enforcement related questions are best addressed through the enforcement site:
enforcement.xbox.com. By using profanity you are violating the ToS. You are best not to engage the person and instead just report their conduct. Many times messages are sent trying
to get a response like yours so they can report you as such. Bust not to engage in it.
