My chatpad doesn't work

I recently purchased a chatpad and I can't get it to work. I've followed all the instructions and nothing happens.

Xbox One Chatpad Not working when connected

when i connect my xbox one chatpad to my controller, it automatically switches off the controller and both don't work, I press the centre button to turn the controller back on and it doesn't work.

when the controller is connected to the Xbox via a USB cable the controller stays on but the chatpad doesn't work.

ive connected the headset adaptor to see if the controller is the problem and it works while connected, so it must be something to do with the chatpad.

please help.

Hey Rita!

Have you tried your chatpad on multiple controllers by any chance? If not, and you have a second controller available to you, try it on that to see if it works. That will help figure out if the issue is with your controller or the chatpad. If you don't have
a second controller available to try, I would recommend returning the chatpad to your retailer in exchange for a new one if you are still within their exchange/return window. If a new one doesn't work, trying a new controller will definitely be the way to
go next.

Play Megadrive

Finally figured it out, i had a chatpad connected to my pad and i removed this and it begun working. While it has always worked beforr with a chatpad, my chatpad has become defective amd must of been interfering, so i have taken it off and my headset work.

I'm glad im not the only one with this problem.. I got my elite 2 today and its not working with my chatpad. Is not only the audio but is like it won't recognize the chatpad at all. Notbing works not even to type this is annoying bc I use my chatpad frequently....
is noy my chatpad bc i tried it on my other controllers and even my elite series 1 and it works fine... I didn't pay almost 200 dollars for the new controller not to let me use my accessories.

Hey there

Sounds like you have caps lock on, to turn it off hit the orange button in the bottom left then hit the shift button

Brilliant! I think I was just having a brain fart, but that solved it!

Hello!!!

To deactivate the uppercase lock mode, press the Orange key followed by the Shift key. Shift LED will go off.
