    My cd-drive


    Hello,

    my cd-drive has stopped functioning of a sudden, when I changed my game from time to time, when I changed the game, it was me, but now it works at all. What should I do?

    When the power light is flashing it means your cd drive is not detected I called ms earlir about my brother xbox which did not have a cd drive in it and to update you neeeeeeed you cd drive because it is one of the thing the xbox is updating

    I am trying to change my cd drive, original drive is a X800473 and I want to install a X800474 drive, is this possible by installing a new driver. If so please tell me where to find the driver.

    Call MS support. I had the same issues, spent 2 hours chatting through the chat feature doing this, doing that. Ended up being sent for repair. MS paid for shipping since it was still under warranty and was back in 3 days for me. javascript:void(0);

    Hey there CapiBoy18!

    Sorry to hear about the cd-drive issue. Just to clarify are you saying that your Xbox One console will not play any discs? Is the issue occurring with specific discs? Just to make sure that we have not missed any troubleshooting steps, I recommend trying
    a few.

    Please give the following steps a try:



    • Make sure your console is placed horizontally on a flat, stable surface.

    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the the power cord.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Power on your console to see if your console will read a disc.
