    Try going to support.activision.com/modernwarfare where you can change the name back on your activision account. Since Modern Warfare is crossplay your display name is what you have set on your Activision account. You'll see if you change your xbox gamertag

    Hello Rolleroc,

    This happened on Xbox One? Is it possible that you have crossplay enabled? (You mean that the name displayed in screen is not the one you had, am I correct?)

    And if you dont feel comfortable still after the above mentioned, change your password on your activision account.

    And if they have two factor, enable it. I Recommend this for all apps that have it. Saved me a few times.
