My brand new Xbox one controllers won't connect to my xbox one at all, USB cord and all! HELP!

I have tried EVERYTHING! Syncing, turning on and off, system reboot (from home) unplugging and replugging, USB cable.. EVERYTHING and my controllers will not connect.. The lights are a dim white, don't even turn green whatsoever. I bought two brand new controllers
yesterday (16th) so it's not the batteries etc.. Could it be the Xbox? Someone help! I need to play games!

Controller sync button doesn't work for particular controller. Please take a look.

Okay so one of my controllers won't connect from the sync button I know the steps please do not tell me to press sync on both devices. So, I can sync any other controller I have about 6 of them. Now.. I have a normal white xbox 360 nothing new. 2 elite controllers,
1 gamestop controller 3 white controllers. All wireless except for the gamestop. I have 4 PnP cords. I tried using a PnP cord to connect the controller to the xbox it still doesn't work. It just keeps flashing. All 4 of the rings flash at once. Any help?!

Headset Adapter doesn't work with my new controller

My Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter doesn't work at all with my new controller (Patrol Tech Special Edition) it also didn't work with 2 other brand new winter forces controllers. I already tried to update the controllers and they
are already up to date. It works perfectly with original xb1 controller. All my stuff is microsoft brand.

Do you have any friends nearby that own an Xbox One console that would let you try your controllers out on? And if they have working controllers, can you try syncing them to your console? What exactly happens if you plug the controllers into your console
via USB?

Don't forget to take a look at the >>controller troubleshooting guide<< and following all the steps provided
there. Additionally, you could try exchanging the controllers to see if that helps as well.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunatley that didn't work

I have connected the contoller via USB but all that happens is a slight vibration and the xbox button flashes for a minute then the controller shuts off.

The controller is brand new, tried a second one with the same result.

I have the same problem with my brand new one and my controller won't connect either.

I am having the same issues as the guys above...when I connect my controller to my PC it first starts the sound like it connects a device. Then my Controller does not respond and the light on the Plug and Play micro usb cord does not light up.

If I try to turn on the controller it just connects to my Xbox One...it completely ignores my PC.

Now here is what I have tried:

I have downloaded the PC driver manually.

I have updated the controller software.

This is a brand new PC so all the drivers are new and I have ran all the updates I can through Microsoft Automatic Updater.

I have even gone into my Device manager and ran trouble shooting on the driver.

All I get when I do any of the PC side updates is that the driver has not been installed correctly or that the driver is fully p to date. Hopefully this all helps.

You couldn't connect the usb to the controller? is it all usb's or just that one? It may be the usb cord itself. or the controller, If so you may have to send it in for servicing.
