    My Bluray 4K works.... but in FULLHD instead of 4K


    Hello, my name is Emilio, i bought a new xbox one S last week with a couple of Bluray 4K movies, i have a Samsung 4K TV, and when i connect the Xbox it's working at 4K but, when i played the movie 4K it works in FULLHD instead of 4K, when i finish the movie
    and i use Xbox for games, or other thinks it works another time in 4k.

    So.... why when i play bluray 4k the definition turns to FULLHD? do you know how to watch the bluray 4k movies in 4K instead of FullHD?

    Xbox One S Question

    While the Xbox One S is 4k capable, it's "backwards compatible" to FullHD or HD ready TVs that don't have 4k.

    Your Xbox One S will work perfectly fine on your current TV, if the Xbox One worked on it.

    UHD Bluray won't play in 4K on 4K non HDR TV

    So I have a Samsung 4K non HDR TV, and my xbox one s will show up in 4K when I am on the dashboard, but when I install a 4K HDR bluray disk it only displays in 1080p. Any reason for this? Do the UHD bluray disks not play in just 4K if its also not HDR?

    Problem solved! I changed the HDMI port to 3 (HDMI-MHL) and it works. The copy protection is only working with HDMI-MHL.

    Problem solved! I changed the HDMI port to 3 (HDMI-MHL) and it works. The copy protection is only working with HDMI-MHL.

    What is your setup 4k fullhd you need up to date hdmi cable for 4k check amazon they do cheap good cables no frills but they work fine

    There aint any 4k blurays yet but there is upgraded movies says 4k on box but they play in 1080p and work on xbox picture is better but not ture 4k
