My billing address doesn't recognise my state what do I do

I went to purchase a game and the billing address doesn't have my country which is Ireland and doesn't know my zip or eircode

Sorry but that's wasn't helpful you see on the billing address it doesn't have Ireland so the billing address doesn't recognise my zip code so I was wondering how do I fix that or how can I go about that

You can try signing in to support.xbox.com on your phone or computer and entering your billing information. Once you've updated the information, it will update on your Xbox. Hopefully this solves your problem.

Regarding the postal number, you should search for it online by entering your country and the area where you currently live and it should appear, or ask someone nearby who can give you that information accurately.

What state do you need for your billing address?

Hi again. Is there a specific way to force the console to recognise me as being in South Africa? I am signed in with my local account but the billing options does not allow for the capture of details unless it is in the USA. I have changed the region and
locale and the console displays this but no matter what I do, I can't capture non-US billing address details.

Failing this, can someone detail how to format the console please?
