My Beats By Dre headphones microphone has not ever worked on any of my xbox's (it makes a LOUD annoying screeching noise in the chat rooms). I have been a loyal customer since the Xbox 360 came out. I have been all over the internet researching a fix, I understand the solution is getting a OMTP to CTIA Converter Adapter. However after purchasing 4 YES FOUR different brands/types of them off of Amazon none of them have worked. There is no solution anywhere on the internet for this. I am fed up with this, me and the tens of thousands of other people worldwide in this situation demand a solution and an answer Microsoft.

Well no anything has tk be labeled made for xbox or ps or switch

There is also another option for xbox one or higher

Use the xbox companion then use your Bluetooth thru thaf

Those really arenr made for console.gaming

A friend and I have had issues trying to use the beats headsets on Xbox and I don't know if it's because it's an apple device but the mic has never worked. It was easier just getting a gaming headset for chat and then using the beats for solo mode.

I know this wasn't the answer you were expecting but I don't believe there's a setting to weak on this one because I had tried all of them

Just like Beats by Dre, Turtle Beach should have no place in the headphone industry.

I have a pair fo the steel series headphones and they include a retractable microphone and adjustable volume slider on the headset. They are charged through USB and can be used wirelessly. I think they are often recommended for gaming as they have nice,
comfortable padding and a pretty good quality. Better than the Beats by Dre that I had in terms of quality of craftsmanship, but they aren't as visually appealing.

Clean the headphone jack. IF this doesn't work you might have to twist it around to find the sweet spot every single time you insert your microphone for your audio to work . if your aux cord has ever come loose and you hear just the music to a song with
the vocals sounding distant and muffled. It's the same effect.

With me it was a controller problem and once I cleaned the spot where I insert my headphones it has worked swimmingly ever since.
