My bar code ripped off my gift card how do I get to use it if it has the long qr scan

With such cases, it would be best to contact our live support as they will be able to assist you with this. However, they might ask about the receipt to further proceed with your request. If they were unable to assist you, I would suggest getting back to the retailer from whom you purchased the gift card and see if the can do something about this.

Only a qr code.

Bar codes are only for the retailer nor can you use the bar code in anywsy

Are you sure you got a Xbox gift card not a ms store gift card and yes they are different

Hi, my son was given a gift card for his. Birthday for a value of £25. I carefully took off the strip but it also took off the code number. How do I get a new code for that card please? We have the receipt and bar code number. Thanks John

If the redeem code gives an error of not activated return to merchant, then its target you have to deal with not xbox. I had this same problem with walmart. The barcode on the back has to be scanned by the cashier or it can't be used. So there was a
problem with scanning the gift card. Every card has its own code. I bought two cards, one scanned but the other wouldn't scan so they re scanned the first gift card. It showed on the receipt that I bought two gift cards but one was scanned twice so the
other one was useless. Walmart gave me my money back because they couldn't take gift cards back as a return. Make sure you still have your receipt and you get to deal with someone nice at target. Maybe take a screenshot of the error message to show target
as well.

This with the QR codes being implemented does that mean that you have to use your system to scan the code. What i'm trying to say will still the cards have the numbers and letters on the card or just the QR code?
