    IF someone says inappropriate things, you should just block, report and move on

    Any response opens you up to action as well

    You were likely banned FOR communication, but not only from it.. You need to check the enforcement page for details, as no one here or at support has the ability to look at your account or change any enforcement action. The only avenue is the appeal process to reverse it

    What game are you trying to play online and are you seeing any errors when you try to play?

    Let's also make sure that your
    account info and console info matches
    the country you are actually located in. If this got altered in any way it could prevent you from playing online.

    I am not sure what you've tried up to this point, so please do mention everything you've attempted to fix your problem.

    Occasionally, your console may not see any recent renewals on your account, and will require a full shutdown and reboot to "refresh" itself.

    - What game are you trying to play with your friend?

    - Are you both using the same version of the game and the same console model?

    - Have you checked your NAT type and network settings on your Xbox?

    - Have you tried restarting your console and router?

    - Do you get any error messages or codes when you try to join your friend's party or game session?

    - What device are you using?

    To troubleshoot these issues, please follow the steps below:

    - Check your Xbox Live subscription status and make sure it is active and supports the game you want to play. You can do this by going to Settings > Account > Subscriptions on your Xbox console or by signing in to your Microsoft account online.

    - Check your NAT type and see if it is open, moderate, or strict. You can do this by going to Settings > Network > Network settings > Test NAT type on your Xbox console. Ideally, you want your NAT type to be open or moderate for the best online gaming experience. If your NAT type is strict, you might have trouble connecting to other players or joining parties. To change your NAT type, you might need to adjust some settings on your router or modem, such as enabling UPnP, port forwarding, or DMZ. For more information on how to do this, please visit “UPnP Not Successful” appears in your network settings | Xbox Support

    - Reset your network settings and clear your cache. You can do this by going to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear on your Xbox console. This will restart your console and reset your network settings to default. You might need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network or enter your password again after doing this.

    - Restart your router or modem by unplugging it from the power source for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. This will refresh your network connection and clear any potential issues. After trying these steps, please test your connection again and see if you can play with your friend online.
