My applications and games won't work

Every time I try to launch an application or a game on the Xbox One it says it took too long to load error (0x87c40131). It all started when I bought Titanfall 2 from the Xbox live marketplace. I was playing the campaign then it kept glitching out. After
that, every application and game didn't load properly. It took multiple times trying to load the game till it would finally work. Someone please help me.

why won't my game work

i played my game prey a few days ago turned my console off and a few days later it's refusing to play it now....... why????

the game has very little to 0% damage.....

Minecraft won't launch

Worked great and suddenly the application won't launch. I checked Java, un-installed the game and reinstalled, but still won't launch.

Hey there!

What steps have you tried so far? Let's start with power cycling your Xbox One console by holding the power down until the unit fully powers down. Once your Xbox One has powered down, remove power from the back and let it sit for 5 minutes. Once that time
passes, boot back up and try again.

You won't believe this, but I just turned on my console to try what you recommended and everything works fine. Both games and applications are working. I don't know what happened, but if it happens again, I will do what you recommend. Thank you very much for your help, and have a good day.

Still having this issue. It won't let me start up other games either (namely CoD). It just gets stuck at the title screen of whatever it is that I open up. Other applications work fine.

Three days ago Xbox had a major server issue that impacted a lot of games, gaming, dlcs, etc... A lot of users reported the same issue as you (games or DLCs asking to be purchased again).
