My (and others) "Xbox One 1 TB Tomb Raider Bundle" does not include "Tactical ...

I assume it was the result of my original telephone call to Xbox support that triggered the response as the call was from my local (I’m in the UK) support desk.

It did take about 5 working days for them to get back to me, I used their local support number and navigated the menu options (there are many so take your time and listen carefully lol) but I did get through in the end.

It seems they are aware of the threads both here and on other forums, so as more people report this missing code the more it builds our case for a replacement.

Purchased the console include Tomb Raider but only with the code for the game and no code for de DLC.

Hey all!

What you need to do is contact customer support for Xbox. They can escalate to get the code replaced as long as it's not damaged. You will need to be able to provide pictures of the proof of purchase, and front/back of the card.

Honestly, if any agent tells you it can't be replaced, they are wrong. The last thing you want to do with support is get snippy or rude. If you feel as if you're not being helped, calmly ask for a supervisor and tell them that you know this can be escalated
if you can provide those pictures as proof.

Anyone got their code yet?

I even made a Twiiter account for another way to contact support.

First time I got a (automated I guess) response to tweet again during the service hours.

So I did that.

Second time I got no response at all.

If people contact Xbox support and get told it's not their job, it's the job of the shop, you are prone to believe them at least the first time around.

They don't think they will have to explain support their job - feeling like a beggar while doing so.

Having to spend so much time for a missing DLC code...

it's just abysmal.

 

No solution, unfortunately. Even tried to contact them by phone. They just blame either Crystal Dynamics or the shop, and both of them just blame Microsoft. Square Enix can't even be contacted, their support website just says to take it to Microsoft. Support
person pretty much said over phone they won't do anything because it's not bought directly from Microsoft's own store.

The only option left is demanding a full refund from the shop at this point.

Strangely enough someone else did manage to get in touch with a support agent who said he might have a solution and was really willing to look into it - said something about being able to generate a key, but wasn't sure if it was the right one. Lost that
chat due to connection issues, and unfortunately nothing came of it. I'd still like to thank him for being the only one to even try.

 

The problem everyone has in this thread is the country of residence of the person buying the product and what legislation you have to protect the consumer.

I’m from the UK and my purchase came under three statutes of consumer protection, first I purchased on-line so it comes under the distance selling regulations, second the goods were not ‘as advertised’ so this would come under the Advertising Authority remit,
thirdly it would also fall fowl of the Trading Standards office because the goods were not as advertised.

As the ultimate supplier is not in the UK then a ‘Cross Border Dispute’ may come into the mix as well. Each of you will have to consult your own protection rules to see if you can proceed with enrolling any extra help to get a satisfactory outcome.

Same problem. Italy. in my bundle there were one code for" Tomb Raiderdefinitive edition", one code for fre 14 days xbox live gold and the physical copy of "rise of the Tomb Raider" ( not a code card ). No code card for the tactical survival kit content
( as shown in the marketplace italian page ). Obviously this code there was not even in the game box. I bought this new console bundle also for this exclusive dlc. Is thereany official answer yet?

 

I have the same problem ... My game card don't content the two codes needed to download both, game and Add-on ... I want a solution ASAP, because I bought the bundle a lot of time before the launch of the game ...
