    So in the Xbox One 1 TB Tomb Raider Bundle there is a card.

    The card is for Rise of the Tomb Raider.

    On the front of the card it says "Includes Tactical Survival Kit Content Pack".

    Under the cover on the back of the card there should be two codes ->

    Sadly on mine there is only one code and that one does not unlock the DLC - only the main game.

    It looks like a production error.

    Crystal Dynamics says: Anything that involves codes or downloads needs to be taken care of direct with Xbox Support.

    I am hereby asking you (Xbox Support) for help.

    To some extent the advertising for the exclusive DLC influenced my decision to buy the Tomb Raider Bundle.

    I bought something I did not get.

    I hope this will change soon.

    I have the same problem as the above.

    I telephoned your support service and was advised to contact the company who sold me the bundle, this I have done and am awaiting a reply.

    However I don’t see how they can help me as this is a printing error and unless you (Microsoft) issue new codes there is no way for them to help.

    While this is not game breaking and the game has installed and runs fine I have still paid for something I have not received, an early resolution to this problem would be appreacated.

  5. Same problem. I've also posted on the linked forums about this issue.

    I was also advised to contact the store I bought the bundle from, but they told me I have to contact Microsoft support. Then I was told to contact the shop again. I feel like I'm going in circles here.

    It really does seem like a printing error - seems regular codes have been printed on the back of the special bundle cards.

    I hope this can be resolved, as that add-on definitely was something I wanted to get in the bundle.

  6. I'll post an update since I can't seem to edit the previous post. Xbox Support basically said they'd only give the code to the shop, so I emailed the shop again and explained the situation. Got a response and unfortunately they can't get the add-on codes
    either. The only remaining option to fix this problem seems to be to return the entire console bundle. But even if I did get a replacement for it, there is no guarantee it won't have the same problem.

    If the code cards are faulty, then Microsoft should really fix this since they are both the publisher of the game and the manufacturer of those cards.

    First it is not customer service sending the consumers running in circles and wasting their time.

    We did not fail - the manufacturer of the cards did.

    We have already invested too much time into this problem so it needs to be fixed fast and convenient for us.

    Second the card was manufactured by Microsoft so they are in the end responsible as we have been already told by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix.

    Seriously what does Microsoft expect?

    The main game has been activated since we suspected the code is for the game
    and
    the DLC. So it would be kinda difficult to "return" the card.

    Only the absence of the DLC in-game plus (time-consuming) research informed us there should be two codes actually.

    And certainly I will not return the whole working console after setting it up etc. (also time consuming)

    And from what I read one user even did that and got a new card with guess what only one code again.

    So should the shop open all their bundles and check the cards till they find one with two codes and send all their opened incomplete boxes back to MS? Lol

    Plus if we did get a new card then we would essentially be getting the whole game again for free - and let me guess MS surely does not want that either.

    So the simple solution:

    Generate DLC keys and send them to all users who got unlucky. Convenient - fast - easy.

    And if you think we want to sell those DLC codes and are all liars I - and everyone else I guess - can easily proof that the card is faulty via picture or even video.

    And if this takes much longer and does not get fixed at all the whole thing is at least false advertising - so there you have it.

    Thank you for your time and be sure I hate wasting mine.

    I agree with Turaeon and will indeed gladly provide proof of my purchase if that's what it takes to fix this.

    I'm also affected by the problem and I was the one Turaeon mentioned who returned the bundle to get a new one and the DLC code wasn't included in the other bundle either.

    At the very least this makes a great first impression for new (console bundle...) customers, not.

  11. I agree with all the above, I have contacted Xbox support by telephone and contacted my supplier by email both say it is the other companies fault and should fix it. I don’t really see how my supplier can fix this as they just supplied a ‘Bundle’ and had
    no way of knowing the code was not supplied in the sealed box.

    I can easily supply photos of the card for proof and proof of purchase and Microsoft can easily check the code against my Gold account for verification.

    If I have not received a satisfactory resolution by the end of next week then my only alternative is to resort to the big guns of Trading Standards and the Advertising Authority as they can deal with ‘cross border’ disputes like this. It seems one heck
    of a lot of bad publicity and wasted time just to get a simple code but that seems to be the way companies treat their customers these days.

  12. Just a brief update to my post to say that Xbox support has been in contact with me by telephone over the last two days and requested supporting photos and purchase information which I have supplied by email.

    They have tried to supply me with a new code but the code generator is having some problems and seems unable to email me the code.

    However support are trying to help so it might be just a matter of waiting, be patient, be polite and it may well get sorted.

    I have the same freaking problem. I didn't even know till now that there should be a second code. I Just thought the code would give me both and now I don't really know what to do, because all I'm readin is that microsoft doesnt want to take the blame.

  14. I don’t think any of us on this thread knew there were two codes, one to unlock the game and one to unlock the DLC pack. It wasn’t until the USA members on some of the other forums mentioned there were two that we became suspicious and started asking questions.

    If you do decide to contact Xbox support make sure you have photos of the front, back closed and back open, also a copy of the purchase receipt (it must be dated before the 13/11/2015 as this is a pre-order item), ready to send to support for verification.

    Also make sure you have a contact telephone number in your profile so they can contact you if needed. The guy who is helping me is top notch and he is adamant he will sort it out.
