My Acount......

To whom it may concern.......

I tried posting on here about 5 days ago, about my account being suspended for communications. I have not recieved a return reply on this matter in regards to the deatails of the suspension. I recieved a message on my xbox and e-mail stating that my account
was suspended, at which time I got home from work to check it and it said on the first message I was suspended for 20 hours, than there was a second message saying I was suspended for 6 days, than at 10 pm that night I get another message saying I have been
suspended for 29 days.

Now I am 48 yrs old, not that that makes any difference, but I dont get caught up in the childish antics of arguments on a game. If I did do something, why wasnt I warned about it forst before the suspension? this is my forst offence, and I get a 29 day
suspension really???

wrong xbox acount

hi

switching acount on my xbox is not a problem i mean the link between my microsoft acount and my xbox like on MY Microsoft acount i log in another xbox acount i would like to put my real xbox acount mon my microsoft acount

I was having the same issue with my main acount and my smurf acount ( just a extra account) but i kept going through acounts tell one loged in and once one worked i was able to trick my xbox in signing in to my main acount by using the switch acount option.

So I read the code of conduct, and I dont feel that I fall under any of those issues mentioned. Can I get a definate reason why my account was suspended and a reason why my forst offence is 29 days?

 

Typically, the XBLPET will send an e-mail to you explaining what you were suspended for. Seeing that you received several e-mails, I would expect that at least one of them would have this. Either way, the Xbox 360 Account Suspensions & Console Bans forum
is the only place that the XBLPET will see and respond to your question. Nobody else will have any information to provide you about the issue, unfortunately.

 

They won't give you any details and they hide behind anonymity. There is no appeals process and the whole system is deeply offensive. It seems to me that once they have you money that is all they are interested in.

 

Having never violated the rules, thus not having faced enforcement action, I have not been in a situation that made me believe that Microsoft is only interested in my money. Certainly they are a for-profit company in a capitalist society, but so are Nintendo,
Sony, Atari, Sega and every other console and game making company. If they merely wanted to take our money, they would never offer fixes to problematic games; they would not have listened to the public outcry of their intended policies and structure for the
Xbox One, and they certainly wouldn't offer the various promotions that they do, including free games.

As far as the XBLPET "hiding behind anonymity"; I don't blame them for keeping the members anonymous. As a supervisor at my company, I have had people go so far as to falsely accuse me of sexual harassment (the accusations were investigated and proven false)
as well as google search my name in an effort to dig up dirt about me. It has been my experience that when faced with disciplinary actions, there are people who will go to great lengths to attempt to discredit those who are in authority so as to avoid such
discipline. The members of the Policy Enforcement Team investigate each and every complaint that they receive. If their personal information were available to the public, the less scrupulous amongst us would no doubt cause these hard working individuals no
end to trouble.

 

Thanks for your view. I work in one of the oldest and largest UK institutions. Our chief executive has an open email address that any member of the public can use for requests, complaints, bouquets or whatever and each and every email is dealt with in an
honest an open manner. Microsoft on the other hand do the exact opposite. They refuse to have an open way to contact anyone, instead forcing people to create dummy accounts and post on a moderated forum, most posts on which are then deleted and replied to
by private message. There is no chain of appeal, no information or evidence is divulged and everything is non debatable. If you are frightened of complaints it is usually for a reason. I am sorry to the original poster for appearing to hijack his post.
