    Hi,

    in 2009 I think, I bought my xbox 360 and I created my account, Usedmagneto with my parents email (I was like 10 at that time) and their email was our internet company email, one that they give you when you sign up with them. It was fine for a long time,
    but when we switched to another company for more advantages, the email and password deleted itself, we weren't client of this company anymore, they don't need to keep this. Up until recently, I was still playing here and there, but now that I almost completely
    stopped, I want to cancel the subscription, but I can't connect to my account because it was my parents email account and password and they don't remember it. When I try to retreive the password form xbox live, it says that they sent a confirmation on my email....
    you see my problem? It doesn't exist anymore. So here I am, paying 10$/months for a service that I am not using. What do I do?

    How do I cancel a xBox Gold Live 12 month membership that is due to be auto-renewed

    I'm trying to cancel the auto-renew for my Sons xBox Live gold 12 month subscription.

    I received an email reminding me that my Sons subscription is up for auto-renew on 1st November. There was a link in the email to cancel which I followed and it sent me to services and subscription section of the account. I can't see any way of cancelling
    it or checking if it has been cancelled.

    Can't Cancel Xbox Music

    My security email was old and was closed by yahoo. Now i can't access my subscriptions and cancel my Xbox Music subscription which renews around the 22nd of December. To reset my security email it says it will take 30 days which is unacceptable considering
    i would have to pay for the subscription again which i don't want to. I also won't even be here to change it because i will be in Basic Training for the Marine Corps. I would like to know if there is a way for an admin to help me change my security email so
    i can cancel my subscription or atleast cancel it for me.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about cancelling a subscription your account.

    Even though the Gmail no longer exists, that email still serves as the alias of your account, its the username of the account so to speak. A Microsoft account is an amalgamation of different services [Windows, Xbox, Bing, Outlook, etc.].

    You could attempt to
    reset the password     of the account, and then
    cancel recurring charges on your subscription    , or just keep using this account, as any content that you have on that account is non transferable.

    How to cancel my subscription?

    I would attempt to cancel my subscription through logging in however it doesn't let me log in. All it says is that this account doesn't exist. However, as I'm responding to you on the supposedly non-existed account it clearly still exists. Whenever I click on one of my save emails it asks if I want to send a verification code to va*****@rambler.ru‎. Since, I do not know this account I cannot access it to send the verification code. In addition, if I go through Xbox game pass it says mm****@yahoo.com on the top but says *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** when I try to log in. It also asks for va*****@rambler.ru to send a verification code to that account as well

    Well I did this and I got a reply that my account was made using an email address from a provider other than Microsoft. It then tells me to reset my password by them emailing my non existent account. That could be a problem
