My account was hacked.

Hello, my name is Eric i just got off the phone with support the lady on the phone helped me recover my account and she said if i want my gamertag back that i need to post here, she walked me through where to post, my old gamertag was Cupcake and some hacker
got into my gmail account and took my account and changed my gamertag and put it on a new account, my current gamertag is can you please help me get my gamertag back.

Hey, can you give us some more details about how it happened? If I understand correctly, you're currently in possession of the account? The hacker is no longer using it?

If yes, I really suggest that you immediately contact the Xbox support and explain to them what exactly happened. If you can somehow prove, or make them believe that you truly got hacked they might revert the communication ban. I think that it's your best bet good luck!

 

The chances of your account actually being hacked are extremely small.

Even if someone did manage it I doubt they would just change your gamertag.

No one here can help,if you think your account was compromised then you need to contact support again & open an unautherised access case.
