    I've been using my Microsoft account under a specific email for some time now. so much so that I have multiple screenshots of Microsoft saying my account exists. After trying to recover, the email linked to my phone number was switched to this account, which is not my original. Every time I attempt to log in, it says that the account doesn't exist, but when I try to create a new account under that email, it says it does. all of the appeals and things online to recover accounts require an account email to recover, but IT SAYS MY ACCOUNT DOESN'T EXIST, and it won't let me INPUT A HELP REQUEST. Somebody please help me. I have a lot of money in games on my Xbox account, and it's linked to that old Microsoft account that apparently "DOESN'T EXIST."

    hi onyx, no because i can still play their games too, making their account my home console again. and it doesn't make sense that after getting another copy it still wont let me install.

    I removed an email as an alias, i get that its permanently deleted but can that same email be used to create a new account?

    Im pretty sure its deleted because thats what other microsoft posts said about the same thing, but it still says it exists when i try to sign into my xbox account but when i try to sign into microsoft it says it doesn't exist and doesn't allow me to make another one?

    My account "does not exist", but I am logged in and still receiving email notifications. I just can't access account settings or log in anywhere else.

    It says my email address on the profile I'm posting this from, click the link I provided, that's my email. I'm also only here because I received an email notifying me of your reply -- because it clearly knows my account exists and what email it is associated with. When I click the top right, account management menu, it displays my email, but when I click "My Microsoft account" then suddenly my account does not exist.
