The current security protocols are rediculously complicated and unnecessary.

I imagine this is something to do with the absolutely rediculous security proofs. XBOX and microsoft seriously need to sort this crap out! it's like trying to hack the FBI just to use my own account, and then if I make any changes to my alternate, alternate
email address i need to wait 30 days? wtf seriously?

I added my phone number and an alternate email and a security question. This is rediculous what else do I need to do!? Up down up down select start? I did what it asked.

There was a security upgrade awhile back that had you add a second email or phone number for security verification purposes. It's likely you threw your girlfriend's email on there because it was quick and handy. me, I used my roomates phone number. Now,
every time I do anything that goes beyond simply spending points, I need a verification message from his phone.
