    Gold account trouble

    I just renewed my gold account and I'm having problems getting into parties. My account says I'm gold but every time I try to join a party I get a message saying I need a gold account to join. Any idea what the problem is?

    I just renewed my son's Xbox live gold, got a confirmation and was taken out of my account. But every time he gets online to play one of his games, it says he needs to sign up for Xbox live gold. WHY???

    thanks for answers. but it's not my first time that I renew gold from silver account. before this time I was silver several times and I renewed to gold but my tenure didn't reset. but this time I don't know what to do!

    Xbox home screen keeps telling me to renew my gold even after I bought 12 month live code and renewed it a few days ago.

    My account shows the same thing. I purchased my Gold online in Dec of 2014, and renewed it the day it expired on Dec 1, 2015 (online). I can get the free games on Gold, but it keeps telling me "Time to renew your Gold"

    Gamer Profile Picture viewed on a PC is wrong.

    My account is a 1 year gold account (still active, auto-renew = off) my daughters account was a 1 month free gold account (expired in July of last year, auto-renew = off)

    I received the first email notification of MS trying to charge my account on Feb 17th 2015, the second time was March 17th 2015.

    it might not be that the card linked to your gold renewal is expired but that you have no cash in that account as i discovered ...... my card isnt expired but i only put cash in that account when my xbl gold runs out or is due to run out but yeah buying
    via points will work every time as it still allows you to buy MS points from the second card
