My Account is still linked to the parental account

I haven't played on xbox in forever but the parent account got banned because my brother and I can't change this account in to an adults account I was wondering if there was anything I could do to remove these restrictions. I really wouldn't like to leave
this account.

Unable to add son to xbox one

As above,

Select child
Sign in as parent
get to the 50c card authorisation, add card details
Then get card already exists on account - go through screens - again!!

Then after about 10 minutes updating account it fails with code 45468.7036976521340.5055251569016685

Go to xbox errorhelp - can't find it

Can anybody help please we are pulling our hair out on this

Just to say the card is on account from xbox and also Microsoft accounts linked to the parents account!

Changing childs account

The parental email address for my daughter's xbox live account is different than my sons. I've since created my own live account and my son's is linked to mine for parental things but my daughters is tied to a different Microsoft account. Is there a way
to change this?

There's no way we can remove the link of a child account from the parent account. In case you were able to remove the link though, there's 100% chance that the child account may experience different kinds of issues that may result to complications. Therefore,
contacting the Xbox Support team would be the best way to figure out what needs to be done regarding this case. Here's their contact information:

same problem, iam a child account but no parent account is linked to it, everytime i tried to link one i got the page not found message, and now i cant change my privacy settings or add a parent account.....

Hey Suca. That's alright if your parents accounts are gmail accounts. They are still considered "Microsoft accounts" in the sense that they are linked to a Microsoft service. I would suggest having your parents log into xbox.com with those parental accounts,
and seeing if they can accept the new Terms of Service there. Let us know how it goes, or if you have anymore questions.

That link works fine. I've followed the steps and put in all the correct information but it still keeps sending me in a loop after I sign in with both my account and the parent account and accept the TOU with both.

Your son is on a child account. Its not a problem. It needs a parent to approve your son having an account by logging in to the parent account linked to your sons child account. If you don't know the parent account linked to the child account you can try
contact support directly at 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they may be able to find the parent account for you.
