My account is lost forever

Wow that really does stink.I have read on a website where a guy was giving advice to ppl that had their hotmail accts compromised and out of the several hundred that posted not one had been able to recover their account by filling out the forms.Its terrible
that with all our technology this stuff can still happen.I dont blame MS but I blame the tech industry as a whole for creating a virtual playgroung for thugs ands cyber criminals.Sorry this happened.

The whole point of security proofs on your xbox live account is to prove who you are if your main email is compromised.

Those security proofs are either in the form of email addresses or phone numbers, you even have a random security question on there too.

These security proofs were only added a few years back at most, certainly not 10 years.

Are you saying you have no access or information about any of your security proofs on your live account?

I understand you are saying you say you were in the process of changing your outlook recovery email, but you should still have proofs on your live account.

If your blocked out of outlook your blocked out of everything related to it. The only way to recover it is through outlook. I actually confirmed my Xbox account was mine with an Xbox representative but they cant help me because like I said the only way to
recover my account is through this stupid form outlook makes you fill out. I can't wait until my new recovery method is in place because its rendered obsolete if your account is under suspicion and its pointless anyways because when you fail the form once
they remove all possible recovery methods except for the form. From my hour with an Xbox representative it became quite obvious that your Xbox live account is pretty much 100% bonded to you email, they have no contingency to separate the 2 if you're blocked
out of your email. This is really disturbing because if I or anyone actually was hacked and this same scenario happened we lose everything.

@LOWxONxHealth I was using my email perfectly fine 3 days ago when all of a sudden they blocked me out. This isn't an issue about passwords outlook blocked my email cause they suspected I was hacked, they don't provide a reason they just say that they think
you were hacked.

@THEOWENKILLER When you switch your recovery email on outlook it isn't set in stone, there is a waiting period before it is actually set in place. Unfortunately this happened before that waiting period was over. Outlooks only recovery method is through your
recovery email or phone number but like I said mine was obsolete so I couldn't do that. When that happens your next only option is to fill out this form with as much information as you can and hope their automated system thinks you actually own the account.
When you fail this test once you're completely locked out so the only way you can recover your account is through that form which I have failed 4 times now.

Then security proofs really don`t mean a thing, i thought that was the whole point of them.

I honestly don`t know what to suggest.
