My Account Is Linked To The Wrong Gamertag??

Trying to play Minecraft, can't log in to my actual gamertag.

My Minecraft account was SUCCESSFULLY migrated to a Microsoft account on Dec 2, 2021. I was able to play the game with no issues for several months since then. However, when I try to log in as myself now, I see the following screen:

To be clear:

LordlierSphinx1 is not an account I have ever used, it is not used by anyone in my family, it is probably associated with the person who stole my Minecraft account two years ago, before the Microsoft migration. I thought that issue was resolved as my account was returned to me and there were no other problems at the time.

- I cannot choose to switch to the Mariel1416660 account, it gives me a login error every time.

- The LordlierSphinx1 account does not even have Minecraft, or any other games, in its gamer profile.

- When I go to 'View all accounts' and try to remove LordlierSphinx1, I just get logged out. When I log back in, it is back.

- Since I cannot switch to Mariel141660, I cannot play the game I actually own.

- I have NEVER used a different email address for this game or gamertag. There is no other login I can use.

So first I highly recommend securing your account:

Change your passwords if you have not already
Activate two factor authentication
Check with friends or family who also use the device to ensure it is not their account.

Second, because this may be a license issue you will need to contact Mojang about your account: Submit a request – Home They can verify your migration, and your purchases.

Also try logging in at xbox.com and go to your profile to ensure that the correct gamertag is there.

If you call phone support and answer your security questions, they can provide the password for you.

Do you want to link your gamertag with your Windows Live ID? If so, you just go into your "My Xbox" account settings on xbox.com.

it is linked to another email and i forgot what the password was so it wont let me change it
