My account is being spammed and I got banned

Hi I have a huge problem. I'm an xbox live day one member. I love the service and have invested much money and time into the service over the years. It would be many many thousands that have gone into this hobby. My kids play and have their own account.
In recent times we are getting bombarded with unwanted and unsolicited spam through live messaging. Much of it is bad as it is designed to get us looking at adult material or scams or whatever. WHAT IS MICROSOFT DOING ABOUT THIS??? I engaged a couple of these
spammers to see what they were doing. One was an adult webcam and one was some other scam. So over time I just delete the unwanted massages coming in. Yesterday I got one asking me whether I knew some female. I engaged it as I'm sick of this and wondering
what if my kids got this stuff?? So only after a few post the scammer is wanting me to get on Skype. I got angry and talked smack to the scammer and then wanting them to disappear made up that I was part of a microsoft fraud team and their IP etc was being
tracked. It worked beautifully and they immediately stopped posting. Here's the rub I GOT BANNED as obviously a bot or someone has picked up on what I wrote. Granted impersonating MS is a breach and I see that and accept it. But wheres the balance? As I love
playing my xbox with my friends I'm suitably very annoyed. How is it the geniuses can pick me up but not pick up this avalanche of rubbish the PAID members are being subjected to? To make it worse the only way for me to get a review is to answer some stupid
questionnaire that I failed twice!! There's many questions to ponder here. You have all my credit card details and personal details. How long is it before somehow these morons are committing identify theft or fraud or doing nasty stuff to young kids using
your service??? I'm here writing this as there's nowhere else I can see to even deal with this. I want my account unblocked and someone to reverse the BS enforcement placed upon me. If someone wanted to call and discuss this issue I'd be more than happy to
elaborate further. [Mod Removed] I look forward to something being sorted out in the very near future.

hi my account got a communication ban for 7 days and it ends on the 15/8/18 and I didn’t do anything. But the reason I got banned was because an account spammed you with false information reports and I got banned for 7 days so I would really like it if you
could help me get unbanned and sort him out! Thanks for reading my account is

Why are Microsoft not doing anything to make it pointless to spam , IE set it so that you can only send 5 consecutive messages or 10 in a given time frame ( For party invite sakes) and then it cools down - thus if a spammer is scripting tonnes of messages
to accounts it auto blocks for check purposes - once validated as a human user all is good to send messages, if user does not respond to block warn then the hammer stays down on that account ??? There has to be a way to slow or stop this as live is not an
email system yet its starting to look like a junk mail box in my message queue .

 

It's not a good idea to post your personal information on a public forum.

The only way to contact the enforcement team is by submitting a case review.

Anytime you run into anything like that it's best to just report them and block communications with them rather than respond.

 

It would be good if I could edit the post and get rid of the name and number however can;t for some reason. All good and well to report and then delete but what about the customer experience being one of not being exposed to this
junk. You are not even acknowledging the risk to kids. I'm sure a team member would be available of I had issues paying for something.

 

Hey W8! Smwutches provided the proper information. Offensive language of any kind is not allowed on Xbox Live, your best bet is to report and block the offending account. Thanks!
