    My Account has been locked without a reason?


    So today this morning, I had tried signing in into my Microsoft account, and I was given a prompt that my account has been locked? I didn't receive any news or a email stating why was my account locked. I know I hadn't violated any terms of services, because I use my Microsoft account for college, and occasionally to game/xbox. My account has never had issues, with this, and this is a very frustrating thing to deal with, because as stated, I use my account for various things such as school, work,gaming etc. I had tried contacting support, but support couldn't even help me to recover my account because of "TSV"? Which doesn't make any sense because why wouldn't you set up an extra security option for your account for safety measures. I'm genuinely at a loss for words, and confused why this had happened, when I know I haven't done anything, and even I did, there isn't even a reason why I got my account locked.

    When you say "My account has been locked", do you mean that your account has been suspended by the Enforcement team?

    Sometime when this happens you have to wait up to 72 hours before you can try to unlock it. If you keep trying to gain access the account and fail it will flag you. I would stop trying for a while otherwise you just keep resetting the timer.

    Go through xbox support and they will advise you why your account has been blocked.

    usually, some accounts are locked for unusual activity also update any outdated info you have for account backup emails or phone numbers.
