My account has been hacked or something.

Basically for months I've been calling Xbox support. My profile would say I played a previous game that I hadn't, notifications would appear, such as I downloaded a game that I owned but I didn't install,but rarely actually happening on my console. I kept
being told nothing was going on. Then a few weeks ago I got a message from Xbox on my console that I purchased Battlefield 1,and Even though I didn't buy the game, nor.is it in my library for.installation. I was given a free month of E.A access for it. On
previous calls I have explained everything that was going on. I have a console that is under my devices that is not mine and a old credit card both I tried numerous times but cannot remove. Even after all this they DO NOTHING! Crap Give me the console that's
your company says I own, the game that you say I bought, and who knows what else whoever is doing this has access to. I've changed my email passwords and this problem continues.

I don't know.if I'm just not explaining the situation clearly, if there is a language barrier ( not saying MS should only hire employees for specific regions)

This is NOT!!!!! a, IM NEVER BUYING XBOX AND IM JUMPING SHIP TO THE P.O.S. P4 tirade, I'm just putting my experience out here. Hopefully someone will read it and find out what's actually going on.

Xbox owner since Day 1 of the Original, when Electronic Boutique didn't even have a midnight sale, and less than a dozen people where there when the store opened.

Hi all, my account has been hacked, and now recovered but that spending money stolen my credit card, I know there is something I can do? or is money lost?

 

If you have changed you email passwords and your account continues to get compromised then a computer on your network may be infected.

Did you change your password from one of your computers? If so that particular computer may VERY LIKELY have a keylogger on it if your account is continuing to get compromised after the fact.

Id run some antivirus as well as anti malware scans on any computer youve changed your email password and/or xbox account password on since this has been happening.

Hey, DAVID 8 I 2! Sorry to hear about the issues with the previously played, however the Battlefield 1 message was a send done in your favor. There were a small amount of users that received that message when they didn't pre-order the game, and you are free
to redeem.

Generally, when you have games randomly downloading on your console, that's because someone else has your console set as their Home console, and the games are downloading immediately. Could this be the case with you?

Lastly, do you still have issues with the previously played? What is the last game you've played? We can start from there and see if we can sort this all out.

 

Thanks for clarifying the BF1. As to the other points you made. My console is set to "home". Also there will be times in playing and the console shuts game off and go to the home screen. My Purchases on Xbox vidieo sometimes won't work, and says that I don't
own the show or movie. occasionally I will turn on console to see that I unlocked an achievement on a game that is not installed let alone played

 

I'm really considering forgoing EVERYTHING I've bought and just closing that email. I went digital only last Gen. So that is the only reason I haven't already did it.

I didn't mean that you had your console set as your Home console, but that
others have your console set as
their Home console. That is likely why the games are downloading to your console.

I double checked, and see that you're in the preview program. If this is all happening on the console that is set in the current preview, that is why the games are crashing to home and why Movies & TV are having issues. These are listed as known issues in
the
Update Preview Forums.

However, the achievements thing is a bit weird. I've seen it once before. Do you remember which games this happened on?

 

No, or they should t. The console I can't get off if ownership was sold to Gamestop. Anyothet consoles they shouldn't especially since that was one if the original questions I asked when this problem arose, and when you change password email etc you have
to put in all the info

The rep said no. As for achievements I can't remember off hand it happened a while ago, and just found it extremely odd.. Also I knew the movie thing on preview was in issue but with everything else who knows.

 

Recently I had to reset my Xbox One console. I had no issues with anything, but after I signed in I noticed that my account name had been changed and my Gamerscore was 0. I tried singing out and singing back in but the same thing happened. This also happened
when I downloaded the Xbox One smartglass app. I also own an Xbox 360 but I have never had any of these issues on that console. I'm basically saying I can't sign into my real account on my Xbox One console. Please help.

DAVID 8 I 2 - From what I am able to understand of your post, you got this console second hand/refurbished from GameStop. Is that correct? If someone turned that console into GameStop, but haven't changed their Home console to their new console, then that
account still has your console set as their Home console. That doesn't change until the person that set it to that console changes it to another console. Home console is an account setting, not a console setting; this means until the account changes that information,
it simply stays as they set it.

If the achievements thing hasn't happened in a while, then it's likely fine at this point. There's nothing we are able to do about that without more information, and if it's no longer happening, then you should be all set.

 

NO I sold my Day 1 to Gamestop , I never buy consoles used or refurbished. Now my 360 isn't letting me sign in half the time

 

About the Day 1, I have called multiple times , and tried multiple times to remove that console. Which is listed as I OWN IT! I have even put this info on OP. Customer support don't have a problem with it, I can't remove it, a old CC and who knows what else
is on that thing..

I could sacrifice the games on X1, I've even preordered Titanfall fall 2 ( at full price nit the discount that was advertised on page) but I hate to get rid of everything on the 360 by closing down the account. Looks like that's going to be only option.
So there goes my Scorpio, ill be having to buy 360 games ( that I still own some games disappear from marketplace, and only have 500 gig ex MvsC, wich I understand that happens not complaining just saying)

My kids enjoy the 360 more and it helps them learn the controls for more complicated games.

 

That is correct. The user that purchases your console would have to change that information over with support since it would be in their hands, not yours. So that is accurate.

What errors do you receive on your Xbox 360 when it doesn't let you sign in? That could help us pinpoint any issues with your account. Though, several routers do not support an Open NAT on multiple consoles, and that can cause errors when signing into one
or the other. Let me know!
