my account hacked, xbox don't care

so my gamertag all of a sudden is changed to a obvious randomly generated 1. When contacted they said basically "oh well your account was hacked your out of luck". As ridiculous as my password and the tag being computer generated I don't believe it. Anyone
else get robbed in this way.

Gold on 360 and One

Yep be careful with kids accounts. Make that mistake a long time ago with my Sons 360
and although I 'hacked' my way around it it was still troublesome on certain EA games.

Make the profiles 14+ in age is the only option.

Other account email hacked

My other accounts email was hacked a while ago. so now I can't log into my account. is there any way I can change my other accounts email with out the password? I don't care about getting the email back just the account. Plz help!!!

Is that the only thing that happened? Your gamertag was changed? If that is the only thing that happened and you are still able to log into your account and nothing has been changed like your password, phone number or email on the account then the only thing
that happened was that your gamertag violated the Code of Conduct and was forcefully changed.

But are there other things going on with it? Can you still log in at all or can you not?

If you're talking about the tag that you're using when you posted here then it's possible that you accidentally created a new gamertag overtop your existing one.

Create a dummy email address and follow the steps below to free up your gamertag.

i have my xbox account but i made my epic account with my xbox live account but when it got hacked they deleted my xbox account of epic so i cant login and epic doesnt care

At the end of the day, I don't think most of us care that much about how we got hacked, or who was really at fault. We care that we've been without our accounts for months (since Oct. 25th in my case) and that there are still so many people getting hacked.

I just want my account back (couldn't care less about the 1200 points even, just want to be able to game on my main account). I don't care if it was brute force, or someone social engineered my password somehow etc. I just want it back, I'll put it on
a new Windows Live ID that I don't use for anything else but Xbox Live, and put in an even longer nad more complicated password than I had currently.

If a support staff member could look into my case and see if there's any update on how much longer it's going to be I'd appreciate it. The gamertag is "dmaul1114."

I'd be careful. You don't need your information stolen. CC and what not. Nobody hacks accounts to "do nice things"
