    My account doesn't allow Xbox live.


    I was going to play multiplayer on COD Black Ops 2, but I clicked on it and the message came up saying something like my account does not allow Xbox live. I've tried this on GTA, and Doom 3 as well, and the same message comes up. I looked all over the settings
    and my account to find whats wrong. What do I do to fix this?

    Xbox Live Usernames

    We have had our Xbox Live account for a while now, and it's a paid account at that, but my husband's nephew recently created a free Xbox Live account and told us that where the free accounts are concerned, you're no longer allowed to pick your own username. Now, allegedly one is assigned to you and you cannot change it unless you pay to change it. Does anyone else know if this is true?

    Xbox live connectivity after reset

    I reset my Xbox one and saved my games and apps due to very slow processing. I doesn't recognize my existing Xbox live account or allow me to play online. How do I fix this? Thanks

    An Xbox Live Membership limitation does not allow you to use this feature

    My brother is getting this too. I have live and he doesn't but the xbox one is supposed to allow just one live account for all users so I don't know how to fix it.

    Hi there,

    the xbox live account stays the same when it has a gold or free subscription.

    Any purchase is linked to that xbox live account so it doesn't matter if the account is gold or a free account.

    It should allow you to download that game again whenever you want when using the same xbox live account and when the console is connected to xbox live ofcourse.

    Update issue or acct. issue?

    That message doesn't necessarily mean the account isn't valid. Here, perhaps you can try

    changing the password    , to see if that allows you to recover the account without issue afterward.
