But if the app is gone why does the data in files go too?

Why isn’t the data saved to my account? So if the app is gone your data be on your Microsoft account.

Honestly, it sounds like someone else with access to that console deleted your stuff on you. Unless you deleted and recovered your profile and picked the wrong delete options, deleting all items as well.

If the files corrupted, they would still be there but reading as corrupt.

If the hard drive failed, everything would be gone.

I really know how it feels.

I had a simaliar problem like you, but then 50% till 75% of my saved games were deleted. I still have not figured out why.

I know there are quite a lot of recovery prgrammes for Windows-based computers that can recover lost/removed data, but unfortunetly, Xbox has not made that step yet and you are not the only one who encounters this problem.



I know how frustating this can be, but there is no other option left. I decided to continue with Xbox.

How longer I waited with playing the games again, how longer it takes that I completed the Singeplayer games, so I have almost everything completed again.

But lucky for you, you still have your Gamerscore. I see you have quite a lot and it would be a shame if you had to do that over again too.

This is really a strange problem, because data cannot suddenly disappear and it's only your data and not from other accounts.

I don't know if you recently, before it happend, maked any changes to your Hard Drive?



If you are unable to track your data in the memory:

Xbox Home - Settings - System - Storage - Games and Apps, I have bad news. And you know what I'm gonna say.

There is no programme available for the Xbox yet that you can recover lost data.



Proberly there were corrupted files present on your Hard Drive that caused this issue.

To make sure of that, I suggest to check and remove all corrupted files that MAY be present on your Hard Drive.



You can do that by doing following:

1. Go to Xbox Home, then click Settings and then
System.

2. Click Storage and then select Games And Apps.

3. Search every game for corrupted files. You can reconize then by a Yellow Icon.

4. When found, click on it and the press Remove.
