My account content restrictions and family

you should be able to limit content usage by using a Guest Code, without the quest code it shouldn't be possible to use certain things. This is the link to the support page:

That should prevent people to use content when the restricted account is removed.

So as far as I know, using family settings and the guest code should result in being able to restrict access to certain things.

Is the account a child one attached to your family account? As if it isn't a child account then unfortunately you can not place any restrictions as to content.

As for the issue in-game, I get the error message 'You can't play with content created by others, change your account settings to play', I get it, whenever I try to play with public content, in every game, liveries in Forza, online in msfs, unable to access dovetail live in tsw3, and cities skylines along with many other games. I've tried everything in my power to try and remove those restrictions, and my age restrictions have been changed through Microsoft family there are practically no restrictions on my account at this point, fewer restrictions than on my friend's accounts and none of them have ever had this issue, the only difference would be that they aren't in a Microsoft family group.

You can go to Microsoft Family Safety, select your child's content restrictions then uncheck the adult approval on purchases!

After you purchase the gamepass on his account, make sure to recheck the restriction again!
